Donate Shoes For Migrants this St. Nicholas Day

Help Catholic ministries on the border
walk with asylum-seekers on their journey

Kicks for Kino

On the morning of December 6, the Feast of St. Nicholas, many children around the world will wake up to small gifts in their shoes or stockings. But for asylum-seekers on our southern border, the shoes alone would be a gift in itself.

Just one of these individuals is Immanuel. He carried his 4-year-old son on his back for more than 1,000 miles. For weeks, he desperately searched for safety. Upon reaching the border in Nogales, Arizona, he was welcomed by Kino Border Initiative, a Catholic Extension Society supported endeavor. By then Immanuel’s shoes were completely destroyed and his feet were badly battered.

Catholic Extension Society helps Catholic ministries respond to the most critical needs of migrants with God-given dignity.  This Advent, shoes and other necessities for the many women, men and children in their care are desperately needed.  Please help us make this Christmas gift possible for our migrant brothers and sisters.
