7 Ways Your Parish Can Support Catholic Extension Society

Throughout Catholic Extension Society’s 111-year history, pastors and parishioners in America have played an integral part in supporting and promoting Catholic Extension Society’s mission. Here are seven ways for you to join in our mission today:

1) Distribute Extension magazine in your parish to help raise awareness of our mission. Catholic Extension Society provides free copies of the quarterly magazine for your parish reading rack, library, religious education programs, and front office. Order your case of magazines for the next quarter. For more information, contact magazine@catholicextension.org.

2) Order Catholic Extension Society calendars. The themed calendars we offer are Saints, Pope Francis, Mission Territories, and Spanish calendars for your parish. All proceeds from calendar sponsors are reinvested to build and strengthen Catholic faith communities. We distribute over 3 million calendars every year, and raise over $1 million dollars from calendar sales. For more information, contact Ray Totaro at rtotaro@catholicextension.org.

3) Learn more about Catholic Extension Society by reading Extension magazine and visiting catholicextension.org to see our latest news and video series.

4) Follow, like and shareCatholic Extension Society on your and your parish’s social media channels – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

5) Partner with Catholic Extension Society by developing parish projects. Parishes and schools around the country have created Advent and Lenten “almsgiving” and other projects and appeals to support Catholic Extension Society’s mission. Visit our Parish Projects page and mark your calendar for next Lent and Advent to include a parish project for Catholic Extension Society!

6) Support Catholic Extension Society by including us in your estate planning and consider a monthly contribution from the parish to support mission territories on the margins in our country. Contact Melissa Babcock at mbabcock@catholicextension.org for more information.

7) Pray for Catholic Extension Society by including intentions for Mass or in private prayer. Pray for the struggling Catholic communities we serve across this nation who lack resources but are rich in faith.

Thank you for your interest and support of Catholic Extension Society!
