Youth and Campus Ministry

Once a week, on Wednesday evenings, a group of 40 teens, ages 12 to 18, meets at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City, Kansas, to pray. While it is serious business, it’s also fun. Good, old-fashioned fun—singing, playing games and laughing. It’s a chance to leave behind their technology-driven world, which is often isolating, and to work on relationships with their peers and with Christ. Catholic Extension has supported youth ministry programs in the Diocese of Dodge City since 1988, totaling over $600,000.

Watch the video below to see how young leaders from Dodge City are growing youth and campus ministry in Kansas.
