Stories of Feminine Genius

Feminine Genius in Action
Catholic women transforming American society

It has been 25 years since Saint Pope John Paul II wrote his “Letter to Women.” Today, his message of gratitude for the ‘genius of woman” continues to inspire us.

We often see the Feminine Genius reflected in influential Saints and Catholic heroes. But it also shines brightly today, in ordinary women living extraordinary lives of faith.

Catholic Extension Society’s donors support many resilient and faithful women across the United States. Our grants help empower religious sisters and lay women with the resources they need to serve on the peripheries.

Here are just a few of their incredible stories.
