America Needs Priests

As America's priests age, fewer men are choosing the priesthood as a career. In fact, there are 10,000 fewer active diocesan priests today than 30 years ago!

You can help Catholic Extension respond to this challenge and make a tremendous difference in the life of a deserving young man by helping to educate an American mission seminarian.

This year, several generous donors have pledged $225,000 to Catholic Extension's Seminarian Matching Gift program if we can raise $450,000 in matching funds. Meeting this goal will enable at least 80 young men to continue their priestly studies.
