Dominican Congregation of St. Rose of Lima

These "Servants of Relief" with a motherhouse in Hawthorne, New York, minister to terminally ill cancer patients in Hawthorne, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Georgia. Despite being a small community, the sisters stepped out in an "act of faith" last July and opened a cancer care home in Kenya. The Hawthorne Dominicans are featured in the November issue of EXTENSION Magazine.
