    CHICAGO- Carol Cottrill, M.D., a pediatric cardiologist at the University of Kentucky's Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington, KY, has been named the 2008 recipient of the Catholic Church Extension Society's Lumen Christi Award for her lifesaving ministry in the mission areas of Appalachia and her generous presence in caring for poor families in desperate need of medical care.
