CHICAGO - Church of the Assumption in Kenel, South Dakota, would like to repair the damaged cross that adorns the churchyard cemetery gate. In Lake Charles, Louisiana, parishioners at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church are simply asking for 20 copies of the hymnal, "Lead Me, Guide Me" so they can sing together at Mass. And at St. Michael Church in Paintsville, Kentucky, the request came in for Christmas dinner hams for the needy.
