Catholic Extension Receives 2012 Christian Stewardship Award

Called "a Model of Christian Stewardship Par Excellence"

Catholic Extension received the 2012 Christian Stewardship Award in September from the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC), based in Washington, D.C. The award is the highest honor presented by ICSC to individuals or organizations for their unique and extraordinary witness to Christian stewardship as a way of living out a Catholic life of faith.

In making the announcement, ICSC Executive Director Michael Murphy said, "Catholic Extension is a model of Christian stewardship par excellence. This extraordinary honoree ministers to those dioceses made up of faithful Catholics who come from different backgrounds and different walks of life. In its ministry, Catholic Extension has made a profound contribution to our life of faith."
