Almost every diocese in the United States has been touched in some way by Catholic Extension. Since 1905, Catholic Extension has been empowering the growth and transformation of under-resourced Catholic communities by investing in people, ministries and infrastructure.

During the past 10 years, Catholic Extension and our generous donors have provided nearly $175 million to under-resourced Catholic communities - mission dioceses - across the United States.

Currently, Catholic Extension supports 86 mission dioceses, encompassing 11 million Catholics.
