New Evangelization Training

The purpose of this initiative is to give parish and diocesan leaders the basic and practical skills they need to build effective and dynamic programs for outreach and evangelization.

Catholic Extension has partnered with the Mexican American Catholic College (MACC) to offer three day training on evangelization.

Participants will come away with an understanding of successful methods for New Evangelization initiatives. They will end the training with an evangelization plan to implement in their own parish or diocese; to be completed within 6 months.

Dioceses are encouraged to build teams of 2 or 3 to participate in the training.  The ideal candidates are leaders within parishes or diocese that are interested in practical training for outreach models. Individuals can be from either individual parishes or diocesan level employees. Leaders in movements are encouraged to participate (i.e. Cursillo, Catholic Charismatic Renewal). Priests are welcome to attend.

Duration: 3 days

Value to Participating Diocese:

  • Participants within Texas $645
  • Participants outside of Texas: $1,045
