Estate Planning

Your legacy gift to our American missions can be one of faith for generations to come. By remembering Catholic Extension in your estate plans, your gifts for the Church will honor your memory in the future.

Bequests

By remembering Catholic Extension through your will or living trust, a legacy gift will honor your memory and serve American missions for generations to come. Bequests are tax deductible through your estate and provide an optimal way to both ensure family financial security and create a lasting gift to the Church.

Retirement Plan gifts and other beneficiary designations

A testamentary (at death) charitable gift from an IRA, 403(b) or 401(k) is especially advantageous. Income tax is bypassed that otherwise must be paid by a non-charitable recipient of your plan funds, thus preserving the full value of this hard-earned asset.

Life Insurance

The donor is entitled to take a partial income tax deduction when a gift is made of a paid-up life insurance policty. For policies with additional premiums due, each annual premium payment is tax deductible. Designating Catholic Extension as the co-beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of your policy is another way to one day benefit American missions.
